What is Faye?

An iPhone app that writes a short scene from the life you are moving toward and reads it out loud. You describe that life once, in your own words. Each night Faye writes one specific, present-tense moment from it — a kitchen, a key, a desk by the window — and narrates it in about four minutes. It's waiting when you wake up.

How is this different from an affirmation app?

Affirmation apps hand you sentences somebody else wrote and ask you to repeat them. Faye writes scenes instead of statements, and every scene comes from your own board — your photos, your notes, your words. It is closer to mental rehearsal, the thing athletes do before a race, than to reciting a phrase.

Does Faye claim anything about how the world works?

No. Faye sits in the manifestation and vision-board category, but it makes no metaphysical claim and no promise about outcomes. Nothing summons anything. What the app does is narrow and honest: it keeps a clear picture of the life you want in front of you every morning, in specific language, in your own voice. What that changes is attention and follow-through — yours.

Do I need an account or an email address?

No. Faye is free to start with no account, no email and no password. Your device holds an anonymous key that identifies it to the server; there is no profile, no username and nothing to log into.

Who can see what I write?

Nobody. There are no profiles, followers or feed — there is nowhere in the app to post anything. Photos you add to your board stay on your device with file-level encryption and are never uploaded. Sensitive free-text answers are stored encrypted and never sent to any analytics service. You can export every scene and then erase the account, and its data, in one tap.

What does it cost?

Free to start: your first scene is written the night you install it. Continued daily scenes and the full series library need a subscription, which renews automatically until you cancel. The exact price and any free trial period are shown in the App Store and in the app before you confirm, and you cancel in iPhone Settings at any time.

Which devices does it run on?

iPhone only, iOS 17 or later, portrait. There is no iPad, Android or web version. The app ships in English and Turkish.

Can I listen offline, or while the phone is locked?

Yes. Scenes are saved to the phone, so airplane mode is fine. Audio keeps playing in the background and on the lock screen, and there is a sleep timer for listening at night.

Is Faye a vision board app?

Faye keeps a board — photos, notes, voice memos, the lines you wrote once — and then does something with it. Rather than sitting on a wall waiting to be looked at, it is the source every scene is written from: delete an entry and it leaves the writing too. Can I use it instead of writing a letter to my future self?

They point the same way and run in opposite directions. You write a letter once and open it a year later; Faye writes from that life to you every morning, and reads it aloud. Doing both is reasonable — the letter is where the honesty goes, the daily scene is what keeps the picture specific.
